Success at the Zumbathon!

Zumba Bradford hosted their latest annual Zumbathon in aid of The Haven Breast Cancer Support with the help of the ZBBs. Lots of games, raffles and spot prizes all intermingled with some amazing routines from the Zumba Bradford instructors as the theme was the 1980s. Prizes were awarded to all who attended in fancy dress and there were some fantastic costumes. The Zumbathon last approx 2 hours and we raised an astonishing £1062 for the charity which is very close to our hearts and we are so proud to have been part of it. Looking forward to next year!

The Belles Rocked The House!

Following the amazing achievements of the Belles and DMAcademy at the Alhambra Theatre Bradford in September, the magazine reviews were excellent with so many positive comments and we couldn't be more pleased. More invites to attend amazing venues are now on the cards since we were spotted performing and we are soooo excited! More to follow......

Bradford Big Dance

This Saturday there is an amazing dance event happening right here in the centre of Bradford: Big Dance!

Bradford Big Dance runs from 1-7pm on Saturday 14th July at City Park in Centenary Square. Come along and see the amazing fountains and mirror pool along with some FABULOUS dancing.

To be in with a shot of seeing the beautiful Zumba Bradfor Belles, head down to the mirror pool from 2:30pm.

ZBB Television Premiere!

It is with great pride and pleasure that I announce that the Zumba Bradford Belles will be having their TV debut this Friday on C4's Come Dine With Me.

This week the show follows four locals from around Leeds and Bradford, one of them being none other than our resident coach and Zumba instructress extraordinaire Rachael Keighley! And guess what Rachael had as her dinner entertainment? Yep you've got it folks the ZBB's rocked up a storm at VM lounge especially for the show.

So to see our 15seconds of fame, tune in this Friday 29th June, C4 at 8pm.

Lucky Charms?

So our lucky charm worked again on Sunday as the Cougars won 23 - 16 in front of approx. 1000 fans!

The half time dance went down a treat with cheers from both home and away supporters. Even though the heavens opened just as the Belles got on the pitch, the ZBB's went for it and showed that their new routines are looking scorching even when the weather is not.

Bradford Bulls Zumbathon Fundraiser with Zumba Bradford

Saturday May 12th, 12-2pm at The Bradford Bulls ground, Car Park B!

2 Hours of Zumba, stalls, entertainment, food, a MEGA raffle and lots more TBA

Wristbands are £5 in advance or £7 on the day with all profits are going to save the bulls so get involved TODAY!

End of the Footie Season for the Belles

So the Zumba Bradford Belles have finished their run of gigs at Bradford City and it's a good job that we are fast approaching the end of the football season or MAN would they be missing those ladies. It is a true fact that Bradford City have never lost a game when the ZBB's have performed. How's that for lucky mascot status?

Here's hoping the belles can bring the same sort of good luck and fortune to the Keighley Cougars who we have our first half time gig for on April 22nd. Yes that is THIS COMING WEEKEND, get yourself down there and we shall see you then!

24th March...

...Get yourself down to Bradford City for the ultimate of all Zumba routines.

At half time the ZBB's will be performing 'The Godfather' and you know it's serious when there's a name like that attached to it! Ten minutes of Zumba-ing madness which is a treat to watch, a veritable feast for the eyes!

Howdy Bloggers,

The ZBB's first performance was at Bradford City Football Club on 25th February... The Belles danced in front of over 17, 000 people at one of the biggest match day crowds we have seen!

And folks I have to tell you they looked AMAZING! Formations were tight and everyone knew the routine like the back of their hand! Plus I have the pics to prove it.

Four Week Countdown!

It's the four week countdown to our first performance of 2012 and rehearsals are well under way.

If you are a new ZBB or are thinking of joining up then don't forget that tonight is our weekly rehearsal at Victoria Hall in Saltaire from 8-9pm. Pop on down and see what we are all about!

You could also hit two birds with one stone and attend a Zumba class from 7-8pm first in the same venue... Phew a double workout!!!

To see our first performance of the year head down to Bradford City Football Club for the match on 25th February... We are the half time entertainment and entertaining we most certainly are! Having fun and keeping fit is what we are all about, so come along and see if you catch our Zumba energy!

Welcome Fledgling ZBB's!

A massive welcome to our growing number of new ZBB's who are attending rehearsals and getting down routines faster than you can say footloose!

Things are quickly hotting up in the ZBB schedule, with our first performance just 5 weeks away at Bradford City Football Club on 25th February.

If you are considering joining up, now is a great time as we are re-visiting old routines to get everyone on the same page before starting with our new 2012 routines ready for our first performance on 25th February!

It is a relatively small commitment for a great way to keep fit, make friends, have fun and gain a fantastic local social life.

Re-starting Rehearsals

To all you potential ZBB's out there!

Rehearsals start on Monday 9th January, 8-9pm at Victoria Hall, Saltaire.

ZBB commitments include attending at least one ZUMBABRADFORD class a week on top of weekly rehearsals. This is to ensure that all Belles are up to speed with new choreography and music. In addition, performance dates are roughly monthly and attendance at these is much appreciated!!!
